I am Magwitch and I design and make unique gold, silver and gemstone jewellery here in my small studio in rural Hertfordshire, UK.
I love to incorporate texture and vibrant colour in my work, inspired by art, history, nature with a touch of Neo-gothic and a breath of the magical. Every piece tells a story!
All of my pieces are designed and made by me. I am always exploring techniques and ideas and trying to push the boundaries of the pieces I create and I hope that you will be kind enough to like some of them too!

I seem to have developed a thing about Trillion cut stones lately. This is the construction of a bezel for an 8mm Citrine Trillion Cabochon. Not sure I want to do it for anything much smaller!
Sides shaped and soldered in place
Back plate soldered on
Pickled and cleaned
Pierced out and finished
Soldered to band etched with abstract cherry blossom buds on branches and stone set!
